Work projects

Just a quick post with some pics of what I have been doing at work.
The page below used elements and paper from Panorama from Making Memories.

This page was created from Bella Blvd Socialite Collection.  Look for a future post with cards and a "Girl's Nights" Board Book!

I will be adding more pics soon and maybe some details!

Enjoy,

A cutie for sure!!

Has it really been since August 25th????  Time sure does fly!  The move is pretty much over.  I can count on my fingers the boxes to unpack--not fingers and toes ;).

Well, I found my USB cord for my camera, but have misplaced/lost my battery charger.  I thought for sure I had them together, but SURPRISE  they were not!  (I happened in on work today to work on a personal project and learned that they "consolidated" all my little piles of projects.....EMBARRASSING!!)

So guess what I have to share???   A sweet little video of my nephew, Skylar from a long time ago.  I found two of them, so I will save one to share another time.  He is just sooooo cute!

I hope it works for you.  He was VERY sleepy when we shot this.  The voice you hear singing is, un/fortunately mine....depends on your ear.  I know he will bring a smile to your face!

Blog again soon,

Trash and Treasure Find

Hello again!  Look what I found at a huge "Thrift Shop" in Phelps, WI that my mom happens to run, clean, arrange, etc, etc.

Why the excitement over 2 empty jars, empty spools, and some old needles and not so old basket?  I got it all for 2 bucks!

I have had a long love for jars with lids that attach.  Not sure why, but they just "speak" to me.

I was just sitting on the shelf
mourning my plight
empty once again and pushed out of sight
discarded by my owner, emptied of my lot
people walking past me,  Will I ever be bought?

I thought she saw me when she thrust out her hand
but then she grabbed my neighbor and left me on the stand.
I could tell she was excited, she said she just had to have this
but then she looked up and saw me...I would not be missed.

She gasped with delight and put me in her basket
took me to the counter and then out of sight.
Now I have a home and full of buttons I am.
Useful once again, yes I'm the man!

As for the Wooden Spools, I just got MaryJane's Farm magazine and there was such a sweet piece on wooden spools and the memories it brought back for the writer, that I had to have these.  I think I will wrap them with my favorite ribbon from May Arts.  And the partial picture fo the lady houses needles; it reminded me of some GCD cardstock we carry at Paper Studio.

At any rate, hope you enjoyed my post, original poem, and musings.  I posted a project on my project blog if you want to check it out.

Until next time........

Practice makes better?

Well, I am trying to get the hang of this blogging, so I thought I would post another creation today(two days in a row....SCARY).

This card is the current Make and Take at The Paper Studio. The design was not original. I learned how to do it from StampTV; GinaKDesigns social network.

I used 3 different Hero Arts stamp sets and Memento Ink. Since we are in such a "nature loving" area, I think our visitors, as well as locals, will really like it. In fact, someone from North Carolina came to the studio yesterday and made it with a little twist. I love seeing how people interpret the sketches and make them their own.

Take time to enjoy Creation today,
Deanna
